Effective February 6, John Koryl will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at The RealReal.
Former co-interim CEOs, Rati Sahi Levesque and Robert Julian, will remain with the company as president and chief operating officer and chief financial officer, respectively, The RealReal said on Wednesday. They have led the luxury goods resale platform as Co-Interim CEOs since June 2022.

Prior to CTC, he was at Neiman Marcus as President, Stores and Online and President, Neiman Marcus Direct, modernizing the US fashion retailer’s omnichannel offering.
“We are pleased to have John join The RealReal at this important time in the company’s development,” said Rob Krolik, Lead Independent Director at The RealReal drives profitability. This experience, combined with his proven track record of developing and growing online businesses, makes him the right person to lead The RealReal.”
In his new position at The RealReal, he will focus on “streamlining the company’s operations,” the statement said.
