Reunion with coach Gattuso?
The German professional Diego Demme has a difficult time at SSC Naples. The defensive midfielder has only made three short appearances this season, in which he completed 20 minutes. Apparently there is now a chance for him to get more time elsewhere. According to consistent media reports in Spain, FC Valencia is interested in the 31-year-old.

The “bats” coach is Gennaro Gattuso, who knows Demme from their days together in Naples. In January 2020 Demme had strengthened the Azzurri when he came from RB Leipzig for 10.25 million euros and signed a contract until 2024. The defender made 57 appearances under Gattuso, scoring four goals and providing four assists, and has reached €16m, his highest market value during his time in Naples. The ex-national player is said to have been a topic in Valencia last summer.
