The recognized hotline for possible victims of teenage pimps – or “loverboys” – of non-profit association Payoke in Antwerp received about 130 reports in 2021. However, the number of informational questions is increasing rapidly, which would indicate that the hotline, which has been in existence since 2019, is still insufficiently known within the youth welfare sector.
