Ebrahim’s comments have sparked a discussion on social media.

YleX radio host Renaz Ebrahimi hosts the radio program New music X together with a radio journalist Anne Lainton with. The program is broadcast on Fridays and its purpose is to present new songs.
Ebrahimi played a new song by rapper Jambo, aka Jami Kiskonen, in the program No nabbaa ft. For VilleGa. 23-year-old Jambo’s music is currently on the rise among young people.
After playing the song, Ebrahimi started a surprising speech in which he gave his honest opinion about Jambo. In Ebrahim’s opinion, the song itself is successful, but the radio host said that Jambo’s delivery and tone were offensive to him. However, Ebrahimi could not specify the more precise reason.
– There is someone in it that sometimes feels like a difficult artist to play or “feel”. There is a somewhat toxic mood in his story, but as I said, this is such a personal feeling.

Ebrahimi said that his feelings are based on small experiences when he has seen Jambo at concerts. However, he did not say what those little experiences are.
– I wanted to tell you this because I feel that it is also important when we play an artist or feel an artist. At least I myself am the kind of person who is very much affected by those energies – or what that person does or how they behave. It’s not enough for me to just have a good song, good music or good art. That’s the whole thing.
– Different people. Some are able to exclude those other things and focus only on that art. I’m not that kind of guy.
Caused aggravation
The chat app Jodel was outraged by Ebrahim’s words, as the radio host did not provide much justification for his claims.
– People like Renaz shouldn’t be allowed in positions where they can shoot like that. It’s nice to tease an artist who just got his foot in the door.
– It rang in my ear, too. How do your opinions relate to the UMX program in general? You can say that the song doesn’t turn you on, it’s probably ok. But you don’t start barking at the artist by muttering about “bad vibes”.
Jambo became popular after the popular Joovai? as the host of the podcast. The podcast was made for three seasons. The last episode was released on June 1.
Jambo released their first EP last fall. His first single was released in 2019.
