Reporter Elly Smit will show us all the corners of the province in the coming days. Throughout the week, the radio program Op Tjak focuses on the Drenthepad. The path of 329 kilometers will not be completely walked by Elly, daily she walks pieces of fifteen to twenty kilometers.
Today Elly walks from the prison Museum in Veenhuizen to Langeloo. Along the way she has conversations with the owner of Huis te Westervelde. That house has been in the Tonckens family for generations. Elly also passes the Langeloërduinen forest campsite and talks to Aaldrik Pot of Staatsbosbeheer about the Schilleveen.
