According to their own statements, ARD radio reporters were briefly attacked during Eintracht Frankfurt’s guest appearance at West Ham United.
The incident is said to have occurred in the first half on Thursday evening when the Londoners equalized 1-1 in the Europa League semifinals.
The two commentators addressed the incident directly in their radio report, so one of the two had their headphones ripped off.
The journalists then requested additional folders for their own protection in the Olympic Stadium.
There was no further information at first.
