Dortmund (dpa) – According to information from Sport1, negotiations about a change from national soccer player Karim Adeyemi from Red Bull Salzburg to Borussia Dortmund are about to be concluded.
Accordingly, both clubs would have agreed on a basic transfer fee of 38 million euros. You can still increase to 41 million euros through bonus payments. The 20-year-old has a five-year contract, Sport1 reported. There are only details to be clarified, implementation is to be expected in the near future.
Adeyemi’s contract in Salzburg runs until the summer of 2024. There has been speculation about a change after this season for months. Salzburg’s coach Matthias Jaissle also said before the Champions League exit at Bayern Munich that he was expecting a corresponding step. Likewise, Borussia Dortmund has long been the favorite to sign the fast striker. Adeyemi made his debut in the German national team in September 2021 and has played three international matches so far.
