Anwar El Ghazi (28)’s contract with PSV Eindhoven, which runs until 2025, was terminated on September 1st. The reason: too little chance of playing time. While there was unexpectedly a lot of competition for El Ghazi in Eindhoven with the return of Hirving Lozano (28) and the stay of the sought-after Johan Bakayoko (20), the ranks at Man United have thinned out in the last few days. In the Premier League he played 73 times for the Villans and on loan for Everton and was directly involved in 20 goals. El Ghazi’s consulting agency Sports Invest UK ltd brought Sergio Reguilón (26) to Manchester on loan from Tottenham this summer.
