As the “New press“reported, FC Augsburg has deposited “concrete interest” with the attacker. The former junior national player would be available on a free transfer as he will not extend his expiring contract with Lower Saxony.

Born in Berlin, he has been active in Hanover since 2014, where he made the leap from the youth field to the pros. Maina has made 93 appearances for the club with 23 goals.
