Mohammed Kudus has been associated with BVB for a few weeks now. Now there are apparently new developments around the starter from Ajax Amsterdam.
Like the TV station”sky” reported on Monday, direct talks are said to have taken place between Borussia Dortmund and the player side. According to the media report, the creative player’s advisor is said to have already been on site in Dortmund to discuss the possibilities of a change of 22- year-olds to explore.
Mohammed Kudus has been playing well at Ajax since this season under head coach Alfred Schreud and has already scored nine goals in 16 competitive appearances.
In the Schreuder system, he often acts as a hanging striker in the storm for the Dutch record champions, but Kudus can also act in central midfield positions. He has therefore long been traded as a possible successor to Jude Bellingham at BVB.
Bellingham has become a star player at Westphalia in recent months and has long been associated with almost all top clubs in Europe.
BVB talent trainer with direct connection to Kudus
But Mohammed Kudus has long since made its way into the notebooks of numerous top clubs. BVB is likely to have prominent competition in the campaign for the Ajax star, who still has an ongoing contract with the Eredivisie leaders until 2025.
Otto Addo could perhaps tip the scales next year. The Ghanaian national coach continues to work as a top talent coach at BVB and thus has a short official route to Kudus, who has already played 16 senior international matches for his home country Ghana.
A transfer would probably be concrete in the summer of 2023 at the earliest.
