Reopening church Anzegem not this year

The burned-down church in Anzegem will soon have two functions: one part has been rebuilt as a prayer room, and the municipality wants to turn the other part into a courtyard. It should have opened next summer, but that timing is no longer feasible.

Damp walls

The walls appear to be too damp to continue working, so it must first be investigated whether those walls are still stable enough. By the way, during storm Eunice, the new tower rooster also blew off after only a few months, and there is also other storm damage.

All in all, the reopening has been postponed by perhaps a year.
