Renze Klamer has granted Frank Masmeijer’s demand not to put a crime journalist opposite him in his talk show. “I really don’t understand how he went along with that.”
It causes annoyance that media such as the talk show Renze op Zondag are at the forefront of offering Frank Masmeijer a stage, now that this convicted criminal has started a musical career. The former presenter was a guest on Renze Klamer’s program a week and a half ago, where he was given ample space to tell his story.
Hard demand from Frank
Angela de Jong has a bad aftertaste, especially because she has heard from a ‘very reliable source’ that Renze has complied with an important demand from Frank in order to get him to the table.
She reveals in her AD Media podcast: “Frank Masmeijer has simply repeated the trick that he has already done once at Boulevard. He did not want to sit down with John van den Heuvel at the table. That was just a hard demand from him.”
“What a coward!”
It is a repetition of moves, according to Angela. “He has also turned around once when he was supposed to be at Boulevard, but then found out that Peter R. de Vries was there. Then he didn’t want to face the confrontation anymore. What a coward, huh?”
Angela is disappointed that Renze went along with this. “I also don’t understand the program they went with. I had never done that. Then I would have said: ‘Then don’t come, bye. You are not that important, Frank Masmeijer.’”
