It was the biggest talk show riot in recent times: Arie Boomsma got very angry at Renze Klamer’s table because he was questioned critically about his nutritional advice. Daphne supports Arie
Renze does not believe in supplements and therefore does not take them, while Arie’s pantry resembles an average branch of the BENU pharmacy. What do Dutch celebrities think of their conflict? It was discussed last night in a new episode of Dear viewersRuben Nicolai’s TV show on RTL 4.
When Ruben asks the panel members who they think is right, Daphne Bunskoek is the first to confess: “I support Arie.”
Then Tijl Beckand: “Arie. Arie is right.”
A hundred euros
When Tijl is asked why, he answers: “Because he looks amazing!”
Colleague Jeroen van Koningsbrugge: “Yes, he is proof that it works!”
Tijl: “You know what? If Arie and Renze start fighting, my hundred euros will go to Arie! A hundred percent.”
Leonie ter Braak then: “Does anyone here use nutritional supplements at the table? I do, by the way.”

According to Leonie, Arie actually has a positive influence on health awareness. “First of all, I just think that Arie promotes a very healthy lifestyle. I applaud that and he does it well.”
Ultimately, the message from Renze’s RTL colleagues is clear: they choose team Arie. Because why would you still rely on science if Arie’s six-pack provides all the answers?
