René van der Gijp thinks that Eva Jinek is lying when she says that none of her recent talk show incidents have been staged. He finds especially the one from the day before yesterday, with the Qatar callers, suspicious.
Eva Jinek opened her broadcast last night with an extensive response to the recent disturbances in her talk show. She denies the rumors that they were staged by her editors. “To be clear, we knew nothing about these actions. We, myself, would never cooperate with a preconceived plan.”
Eva denies everything
It would be a viewer’s deception if these actions were staged by Eva, but she denies that this is the case. “We have never done that and not now. Other than that, this shouldn’t happen. We are of course responsible for everything that happens here in the studio. These incidents are therefore also a lesson for us.”
The security of her talk show was immediately increased, according to Eva. “What we had arranged so far was apparently not enough. We have adjusted the measures and we sincerely hope that this will never happen again.”
Gijs doesn’t believe it
Today Inside is very critical of Eva. They don’t believe her, especially after the incident with the Qatar callers. Table guest Hélène Hendriks: “I think: this is the umpteenth time… I’m getting a bit tired of it. Now something has to be done.”
Johan Derksen: “I can’t imagine it’s not an agreed upon job.”
René van der Gijp: “No dude, these were two guys from a casting agency. Those were guys from a casting agency this, of course.”
Johan: “But then you are really waiting for viewing figures, aren’t you, if you do things like this. And she wasn’t even wearing her drugstore shirt. I’ve done crazy things in those 24 years, but I’ve never worn a Kruidvat shirt.”
‘This was set up’
René is convinced that RTL 4, the editors of Jinek and Eva herself are lying. “This was set up, yes. These guys think that Qatar is behind Bunnik. They really have no idea. That’s how they stood. No, these were not activists.”
Wilfred: “But a program like this doesn’t need that, does it?”
Hélène: “I don’t think it was premeditated.”
René: “Yes, dear.”
Hélène: “No, I don’t believe it.”
René: “Of course.”
Aran Bade critical
Aran Bade, the star reporter of RTL Boulevard, is especially critical of Eva’s stunt for the Kruidvat. She extensively advertises the drugstore chain, but denies receiving any money for it. “Kruidvat is the big winner. We’ve been talking about it for a long time now. I don’t find it useful,” he says.
He continues: “I really don’t think she got paid for it, but that photo radiates in everything: ‘Come to the Kruidvat! The White Giant is on offer!’ Eva Jinek doesn’t need it either, so I don’t understand why there’s nothing behind it. (…) With 320 thousand followers nothing is innocent, Luuk, if you just post that.”
