René van der Gijp could count on loud applause in the Today Inside studio yesterday when he started to scold Tim Hofman. “Come on! Who the hell is he*mme? Horsel*l!”
Tim Hofman not only has many fans, but also many haters. They are annoyed that the presenter always wants to be ‘good’, but they are also disturbed by the way in which he measures other people. The day before yesterday he was in the talk show Khalid & Sophie, where he decided to tackle a gentleman from the meat lobby.
‘Shut your mouth!’
That TV performance by Tim was reviewed last night in Today Inside. “I would almost say to such a boy: can you shut up for a while? He thinks he’s the conscience of the Netherlands, doesn’t he? So obsessive, huh? It seems as if there is a kind of hysteria in his head, you know,” says Johan Derksen.
According to Johan, it is laughable that Tim is even invited. “I just wouldn’t want a guy like that around. It’s not fun when that crazy person is around, is it?”

Tim took over the entire lead of the conversation, leaving host Khalid Kasem just a little bit of watching. Hélène Hendriks: “Did you say something about it as a presenter?”
Johan: “You don’t let yourself be taken away from the leadership.”
René van der Gijp then goes wild. “I just find this way of him shocking. Who the hell is he*mme? Horsel*l!”
Then there is loud applause in the studio. Wilfred Genee surprised: “Oh, there’s even applause here!”

René understands that the people in the studio are completely fed up with Tim. “Yes, come on! You can go against such a man [van de vleeslobby] say anything like: ‘Are you on a good point here or are you on the right point?’ But the way… The shocking arrogance that guy radiates. Bah!!! Nauseous.”
Johan: “We are dealing with a snot nose with very little life experience who then lectures adult people like a rascal.”

Johan: “Those guys behave like this… They really need professional help. They do not know how to control themselves, they have blown themselves up so much, they consider themselves so important, they think they should call every Dutch person to order.”
Earlier this week, Johan also lashed out at Tim in his program. “That kid who thinks he’s the conscience of the Netherlands. Tim, Tom? What a jellyfish that is!” he said then.
