Mona Keijzer was the main guest of VI Today on Friday evening, but caused annoyance to René van der Gijp when it was about Manchester United football player Mason Greenwood (20). He was arrested a week and a half ago on suspicion of rape and assault. There are also many controversial abuse cases pending in the Netherlands.

Rene is very honest

Wilfred Genee in the VI Today of yesterday: “There was just a lady who just sat with Johnny de Mol and she said: ‘It should not be about the consequences for Ajax and for Marc Overmans all the time, it is ultimately about those women of course .’

Colleague René van der Gijp replied: “No, but look, I also have to be very honest… What you say now: one does not exclude the other, of course, you know.”

Sneer at Mona

René continues: “I mean: I am also a bit done with saying here last week in front of Mona Keijzer: ‘God damn it, how can you, as a 20-year-old lad from Manchester United with a golden future ahead of you, do that like that? screwing up by giving your girlfriend a blow and trying to rape her, so to speak? How do you get it in your head?’”

“Yes, and then Mona Keijzer immediately starts playing the scoundrel (meaning: scoundrel, ed.), like: ‘Yes, just think about those women first.’ Then I think: yes, come on, the fact that I say that doesn’t exclude the other, dude. We need to get rid of that too! We shouldn’t get into a cramp either.”

Discussion

Johan: “No, it is gradually becoming a discussion who is really the victim, isn’t it?”

A 20-year-old Manchester United footballer who has been arrested on suspicion of raping and assaulting his ex-girlfriend. It’s really hard to figure out who’s really the victim here.
