René van der Gijp is incredibly committed to his free Wednesday at Inside, says Zendercollega Evert Santegoeds. He doesn’t think it’s about anything at all. “What a nonsense!”
It is the today inside star that is known for the airy, putting things into perspective and speaking in diminutive words: René van der Gijp. Yet he is the one who cannot handle making five broadcasters a week. At least, that is what his wife Minouche van der Gijp determined. She sent on a marriage crisis if he would not decrease with VI.
‘What a nonsense’
Strangely, private boss Evert Santegoeds thinks it all. “Gijp wants to leave Duk? Well, then she just has to send D’R Man to Hilversum again on Wednesday evening. What a nonsense that man can only chuckle four evenings a week,” the Shownieuws expert in the podcast Snerts Strictly private.
Chances are that René’s initial substitute will return, because at RTL Tonight it all doesn’t really work for Albert Verlinde. “It seems as if Albert has already said goodbye. I think he is already outside with one leg and points that leg to VI.”
“He’s done with it”
Albert has spoken destructively on the radio about his own RTL Tonight. Sincerely, Evert thinks that. “He’s done with it, it sounds like it. The Netherlands has agreed not to look at it anymore and Albert knows that too.”
He continues: “I have to say: it is honest of him that he says so, because he would talk exactly the same about another program that he himself is not part of. He would also be destructive about that.”
Megamislukking
Evert points to his own Megamislukking Entertainment Live. “I sometimes made a program at Talpa that did not get off the ground and then it was our turn every day in Boulevard when Albert was still there. Even when the program was gone, he was still regularly talking about it. In that respect, he puts his hand in his own bosom.”
All in all, Albert has indirectly revealed that the RTL top is in panic. He has had conversations with the management. “That tells me that at least they are not satisfied.”
