René le Blanc is very disappointed that his career is not getting off the ground. The singer wants to parade on red carpets more often and has therefore asked advice from a journalist from Privé.
For André Hazes jr. it is proof that he did well to exchange his somewhat elderly musical team for new blood. That musical team has now made the switch to René le Blanc, who is a kind of fairground artist. However, the intention is to make him a very big one.

For the time being, it just doesn’t want to work with René and that stings him. “There is something very strange,” reveals Privé star journalist Jan Uriot in his column What does Jan think. “He called me two weeks ago and he was like, ‘How do I get on the red carpet?’ I say, ‘Well, just get over it.’ No, he didn’t mean that. He is not invited to anything.”
So René calls the Private in an attempt to end up on the red carpet more often. “Yes. He says, “Who should I call for that?” Then I passed on a number of people he can call if you do want to be present at premieres, so we will also see them on the red carpets very often this year.”
Little trust
Whether it will really work with René and his new musical team is still the question, according to Jan. “There is something strange about it, because that team is used to writing in Dutch, but René never wants to sing in Dutch again, but in English and German. He wants to go on a world tour.”
huh? “He wants to start in the German-speaking countries with a translation of If I Tell You. He wants to do it internationally, but I don’t see that happening with the team yet, because they are Dutch-speaking writers.”

Colleague Wilson Boldewijn finds it laughable. “He wants to do a world tour, but he still has to get on the red carpet in the Netherlands.”
That seems to happen on March 5, because René managed to get an invitation for the premiere of Les Misérables. Wilson to Jan: “When we see the photos, we know that you are the spiritual father of them.”
