Remove transfer limit on PayPal: Here’s how it works

Transfers via PayPal have a provisional limit of 2500 euros. We will explain step by step how you can remove this limit.

PayPal is convenient. If you want to pay something or transfer money unbureaucratically and without wasting time, PayPal offers the right platform. As a rule, these are likely to be smaller sums, for example for a purchase from an online retailer or for a possible subscription. But if you want to make a payment that exceeds the transfer limit of 2,500 euros, PayPal will initially slow you down. But the limit for transfers via PayPal can be lifted. TECHBOOK explains how to do it.

If larger sums of money are to be debited via PayPal, the payment service blocks the process. On the one hand, this happens if the bank account on file has not yet been verified or the limit has not subsequently been lifted. PayPal does this to protect customers from abuse and fraud, such as fake profiles. A security measure that you can find in every checking account.
