Remnants of buried underpants show the quality of the soil in your garden

Wim Van Wassenhove from Zedelgem also participated in the large underpants burial campaign of the national guilds. “Two months ago we buried a pair of cotton underpants in the garden. And the result is also hopeful: they only find a remnant of the underpants. “Fungi, bacteria, worms: now we see the result that all those creatures, which we cannot see with the naked eye, do have their function and usefulness in the soil.”

Awareness raising

The underpants burial campaign is a fun initiative by the National Guilds: they want to convince people to use fertilizers and the climate resistance of the garden in a sustainable way.
