Relatives of Elvis Presley have commented on the new film.

A film about rock legend Elvis Presley will premiere in June. Austin Butler will be seen in the role of Elvis, and the manager will be played by Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks.
Now Elvis’ daughter Lisa Marie Presley has opened her feelings about the novelty film with her daughter Riley Keough. Presley and Keough shared the emotions evoked by the film in their family on Good Morning America.
The mother and daughter glowed at the film.
– It was a really emotional experience. As Riley said, it describes the trauma of generations – in a good way, Lisa Marie Presley, 54, said.
– Riley started crying as early as five minutes. I cried too, Presley continued.

Also Elvis’ ex-wife, actress Pricilla Presley was recently interviewed in a film about Pricilla Olivia DeJongen with.
– I sat down to watch a movie and thought “My time, my hope, she [Elvis] could see this ”. It was perfect, Pricilla said.
The film sees a scene where Pricilla asks Elvis to seek treatment for her drug addiction. In an interview, Pricilla said the scene brought memories to the surface.
– It just got scarier all the time as time went on and he just rebelled, Pricilla recalled in an interview.
Pricilla said she believes the film is one that Elvis really should. He also praised the role performances of both DeJonge and Butler. While Pricilla said it was weird to see someone acting herself, she was happy with the actor’s work.
– I think he did a really good job, I was positively surprised, Pricilla commented on DeJong’s performance.
For a long time, a suitable actor was sought for the role of Elvis. The performer was speculated to include singer Harry Styles. Director Baz Luhrmann revealed why Styles was not ultimately selected for the film.
– Harry is a really talented actor. I would work with him, but the real problem with Harry is that he is Harry Styles. He is already an icon, Luhrmann says.
