Rekkemnaar Jozef Deleu wins the first Taalpenning

Jozef Deleu is the first laureate. He is a poet and inspirer of the poetry magazine ‘Het Liegend Konijn’ and former editor-in-chief of the magazine ‘Ons Erfdeel’, now called ‘De Lage Landen’. Twice a year, Deleu presents a selection of contemporary Dutch-language poetry with ‘Het Liegend Konijn’. In this way he continues to single-handedly put poetry on the map
