Reinforcement for the expansion course: Hessnatur strengthens management

The management of the sustainable clothing provider Hessnatur is getting reinforcements.

The four new members of the management team are intended to strengthen the areas of Brand & Communications, E-Commerce & Retail, IT & Digitalization and Online Marketing & CRM, according to Butzbach on Thursday. This is intended to further advance the company’s planned expansion.

One of the new members of the management team is Anne Rech, who has been working for the company as Vice President Brand & Communications since September 1st. The communications expert, who was most recently responsible for branding, PR, social media and content at the German recommerce company Rebuy, reports directly to Hessnatur Co-Ceo Andrea Hoffmann.

“I am very pleased to have gained such an experienced manager for Hessnatur in Anne Rech and, with her and her team, to further expand the position as the European market leader for fair fashion and increase brand awareness,” said Hoffmann.

The e-commerce area, which now accounts for more than 80 percent of the company’s sales, is also getting reinforcements. Kaj Gans comes on board as Vice President E-Commerce & Retail to help shape Hessnatur’s online presence and sales. He comes from the Swiss clothing group Calida, where he most recently worked as Director of E-Commerce.

Stephan Häuslschmid comes from the Calida Digital Group and supports the company in his position as Vice President IT & Digitalization. The aim is to advance the digitalization of Hessnatur and further expand the digital business models.

The fourth in the group is Martina Dörges, who takes on the position of President Online Marketing & CRM. She previously worked, among other things, as Head of Marketing and International Business at Babymarkt.de GmbH and as Head of Marketing and Project Management at Netto Digital. Both Dörges, Gans and Häuslschmid will report to co-CEO Stefan Mues.

“We are very pleased that we were able to adequately fill these positions in order to further expand the online business together with these experienced experts and to ensure a consistent brand experience in close collaboration with the other departments,” said Mues.
