Prince Harry receives handsome compensation from Mirror Group Newspapers.
Prince Harry’s and the legal case of the media company Mirror Group Newspaper has continued.
MGN was sentenced in the Supreme Court already in December to pay compensation to Harry. The court found that Harry’s phone had been hacked from 2006-2011.
Harry’s lawyer proposed that the remaining claims in the case be settled with MGN and the settlement has now been completed.
Harry’s lawyer David Sherborne said that MGN had agreed to Harry’s demands and would pay Harry a significant new compensation amount as well as court costs.
– Everything we said MGN would do really happened and something much worse, Harry said in his announcement.

At the same time, Harry said that he will continue to work towards a change in the way the British press operates.
Harry says he opposes the use of media executives and journalists to spread lies and illegally intrude, such as hacking, into people’s lives.

Morgan, who is also known from television, has been the editor-in-chief of the Daily Mirror. Mirror belongs to MGN.
– His disdain for judgments and his continued attacks show why it was so important to get a clear and detailed judgment, Harryn says in his statement.
Mirror Group Newspapers was ordered to pay the Duke of Sussex more than €160,000 in damages in December. So now there were more compensations, but the amount has not been disclosed.
