Regular bus stuck under cyclist bridge in Bruges

The accident happened on the roundabout of the Expressweg with the Koning Albert I-laan. The bus was too high to pass under the bridge. (read more below the photo)

According to De Lijn, absent-mindedness was the cause of the remarkable accident. The driver would have missed his exit at the roundabout.

The removal of the bus did not cause traffic disruption, but it did take a while. The bus wasn’t released until around 4am.
