An Arriva bus ended up in a ditch along the Wâldwei (N31) near Drachten on Monday afternoon.
Due to an unknown cause, it went wrong on the exit. Fire, ambulance and police arrived at the scene with several vehicles. The passengers evacuated the bus and escaped unhurt. The driver was taken away by paramedics.
Police have closed one lane of the N31 because of the accident.
