At his own request
The regional league Wuppertaler SV has released board member Peter Neururer from his duties at his own request. The former Bundesliga coach joined the committee in May 2021 and took care of the areas of sport and marketing.
“We very much regret the resignation of Peter Neururer and, also on behalf of the rest of the board, thank him for the good, successful and trusting work he has done for our WSV for one and a half years. We wish Peter continued success and all the best for the future,” said Ralf Dasberg, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The departure of the cult coach, who coached FC Schalke 04, VfL Bochum and 1. FC Köln, among others, follows the departure of coach Björn Mehnert last Friday. Under interim coach Andy Steinmann, WSV achieved their third win of the season against SV Lippstadt 08 (5:1) on Saturday.
