Midfielder Björn Zempelin is leaving second-division leaders Jahn Regensburg at his own request and initially wants to take a break from football.
The club announced on Tuesday. The Zempelin contract, originally valid until June 30, 2023, has been cancelled.
Zempelin joined Jahn’s youth department in 2012 and only made three appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga.
