Reference Studios: Former JW Anderson boss becomes CEO

The Berlin PR agency Reference Studios has appointed Simon Whitehouse as its new CEO and opened a new branch in Milan with a showroom and offices.

Whitehouse has been with the communications agency since February 6, Reference Studios announced on Thursday. Until January he was CEO of Eco-Age, a consulting agency with a focus on sustainability. In addition to sustainability, mental health also plays an important role for him, which is why he founded the Enjoy Being in Transition (EBIT) brand, which approaches the topic through fashion, music and art. He has also held senior positions at major brands such as JW Anderson, where he served as CEO.

With the appointment of Whitehouse, Reference Studios will take over PR and communications from EBIT.

Reference Studios was founded by Mumi Haiati in Berlin in 2017 and, as a communications agency, currently represents brands such as Supreme, Rimowa, Gucci and Nike.
