Freiburg (AP) – Soccer referee Tobias Stieler had to pass the second half of the Bundesliga game between SC Freiburg and VfB Stuttgart.
The referee from Hamburg was substituted on Saturday due to an injury. Instead, Christian Dingert from Gries whistled from the 46th minute, and Stieler took over his role as the fourth official on the sidelines. Almost two weeks ago, Stieler was no longer able to referee the second half of the Bundesliga game between Hertha BSC and 1. FC Köln (1:3) due to a strain.
