Referee slips and angers FC Bayern

There was a strange incident during the FC Bayern game in the Champions League. In the middle: referee Slavko Vinčić.

FC Bayern is trying to salvage a lost season in the Champions League. However, a lot seems to have conspired against the Munich team in the last few weeks. In the second leg of the round of 16 of the premier class against Lazio Rome, a situation also caused displeasure because it created a disadvantage for the German record champions.

What happened? With the score at 0-0, FC Bayern were on the attack after just over half an hour. Leroy Sané wanted to cross the ball in the penalty area, but his pass was stopped – by the referee.

Because Slavko Vinčić slipped and involuntarily stopped the ball. The fans in the stadium booed. The referee immediately raised his arms in apology.

But Bayern didn’t allow themselves to be deterred by the missed opportunity for too long. They hit the Lazio goal twice before the break.
