Chelsea have to do without Reece James again for a longer period of time. The 23-year-old international, who missed out on the World Cup in Qatar, suffered his knee injury in the 2-0 win over AFC Bournemouth.
As the Blues announced on Wednesday, James will be out “up to a month”. “It’s the same spot so we’re worried,” coach Graham Potter said immediately after the game.
James injured his knee in October, and national coach Gareth Southgate then decided not to be called up for the 2022 finals.
