A deer caused commotion in the Emmerhout district in Emmen last night. The animal jumped into the Laan van de Marel against windows and doors.
The Emmerhout district is located near the Emmerdennen. Staatsbosbeheer cannot say whether the deer came from the forest. After studying the video material, the forest ranger says that the deer has probably been walking a bit and accidentally ended up in the neighborhood. The fact that the deer eventually jumps against the windows is, according to the forester, the result of stress and blind panic.
The municipality of Emmen has not received any reports about the deer. If that were the case, the municipality would let enforcement drive through the neighborhood a little more.
After last night, the deer has not been seen in Emmerhout.
