Along the Drenthe roads you will see many bright red signs with white texts in the coming weeks. They have nothing to do with the elections, despite the signs calling for ‘to make your voice heard’.
“You can’t really vote for Drenthe, but you can leave your vote,” explains Michelle Boer of Marketing Drenthe. The organization thinks we should be a bit more proud of our province, and has therefore launched the poster campaign.
The posters are full of puns and concepts that stimulate the sentences. A small selection from the selection:
“Such a sentence as ‘Drenthe is completely the end of the world‘, you can see that as something negative, but it’s actually very nice that you sometimes have that feeling here.”
