“What should our red panda offspring be called?” Tierpark Berlin asks its social media fans.
The cuddly cat bear girl already has a godfather. Because it’s red, of course 1. FC Union Berlin. Together with the association, a name for the sweet little bear is now being sought.
Fans can post their suggestions on the social media channels until October 31st. A jury made up of representatives from the zoo and 1. FC Union then decides.
If Facebook user Sandra has her way, the little panda lady will be given the name “Ursula – little bear” in homage to Union coach Urs Fischer.
Incidentally, the shy cat bear is not yet visible to visitors.
