A red-handed act in Hoorn: the police arrested a 22-year-old man yesterday when he was busy with a burglary attempt on Drieboomlaan. This is reported by the police in a press release.
The report came in at the control room just before 8 in the morning. An observant local resident saw the break-in and alerted the police. They immediately went to the house, where they found the suspect inside.
The man, who turned out to have no fixed place of residence or residence, was taken to the police station. The case is currently under investigation.
