The color is no traditional shade for eye makeup, and for good reason. While eyeshadow may look great in close-ups, “red eyes” may not be a good idea when viewed from a distance. The impression can be bleeding, and rather reminiscent of the look of the day after the party.

So remember to pair the mascara with a pair of red eyelids for contrast in your eyes! The rest of the make-up should be kept soft and natural: a bold shade gets its rights better when you can only find red in addition to the eyelids.
