Several strangers threw colored balloons and bottles at the Russian embassy in Berlin-Mitte late Monday evening.
As the police announced on Tuesday morning, six balloons and two bottles filled with red paint were thrown in the direction of the embassy. However, the strangers only hit the portal and the railing of the building. Nobody was injured in the attack.
Embassy staff removed the water-soluble paint. The police state security has taken over the investigation.
