More about Record Store Day
In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, around 250 record stores take part in Record Store Day every year. The focus in the participating stores is on vinyl, on over 100 record store concerts and events.
The idea of RSD was born in the USA in 2007 to celebrate the culture of indie record stores. Since then, every April, independent record stores around the world have been offering high-quality and rare music releases and specials. These products, including limited editions and unreleased B-side compilations, are made exclusively for this day.
