Record number of participants for Nacht van Vlaanderen

On Friday evening you could participate in one of the four different formulas of the running competition ‘De Nacht van Vlaanderen’ in the Brugse Ommeland. Beginners could commit themselves to ‘Start to run (5 km)’, sports enthusiasts could take part in the half marathon or the Renault marathon. In addition, the organizers provided a choice in the fourth option of 10 kilometers: ‘the 10 km company cup’ or ‘the 10 km Tom Compernolle’.

Record number of participants

Today they close the event with a walk that explores the surroundings of Wijnendale, the provincial domain of Kasteel d’Aertrijcke and the Groene 62 hiking area. With a new record number of registrations of 7152 participants, vzw De Nacht can speak of a very successful edition.
