The number of bankruptcies in our country is still on the rise, according to the figures for the summer months of the study bureau Graydon. In July and August, 682 bankruptcy decisions were made in Flanders, more than 21 percent more than in the same period last year and a new record. The provinces of Flemish Brabant (137 bankruptcies, +75 percent) and East Flanders (149, +1.36 percent) registered an absolute record.
