Record! Mbappé scores eight seconds after kick-off

France’s star striker Kylian Mbappé has broken the record for the fastest tour in Ligue 1.

The 23-year-old scored on Sunday evening after just eight seconds for Paris St. Germain to take the lead in the away game at OSC Lille, which ultimately ended 7-1 (4-0) for the guests. Michel Rio had previously scored for Caen against Cannes in February 1992.

Leader PSG has 17:3 goals after three games and is even more successful than FC Bayern in Germany. Lille only interrupted PSG’s championship series in 2021.

Mbappé scored two more goals in Lille with the 6: 1 and 7: 1, his co-stars Neymar and Lionel Messi (2 each) and ex-Dortmunder Ashraf Hakimi also scored. The sorted out Julian Draxler was missing from the squad.
