In the friendly against Tottenham, Lennart Karl was able to shine with a dream goal. Now he can prepare for a long time with the Munich. Another youngster is also bound in the long term.

FC Bayern rewards two talents with new working papers. The German record champion extended the contracts of 17-year-old Lennart Karl and 16-year-old Wisdom Mike. The club announced this on Friday afternoon. Bayern did not provide any information at the terms.

“With all the success of success, we would like to further promote the permeability for our talents from FC Bayern Campus,” Bayern sports director Max Eberl is quoted in the club notification. And further: “We want to continuously introduce Lennart Karl and Wisdom Mike to the professionals, they should give everything with our support every day, because we would like to have other self -plants in our first team alongside Jamal Musiala, Aleks Pavlović and Josip Stanišić.”

Sports director Christoph Freund adds: “Lennart is courageous, dangerous, technically versed with close ball guidance in 1: 1 situations and very variable can be used.” Mike is “fast, explosive and dynamically with a train to the goal and a good end to the outer lane – a wing player that we like to see at Bayern.” Even more: “Both are still very young and have enormous potential. They can belong to the future.”

Both are U-17 junior national players and have been playing for the club since 2022. Midfielder Karl only made his debut under coach Vincent Kompany at the club World Cup in June-in the 10-0 win against Auckland City. And lastly drew attention to itself in the 4-0 in the test against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday with a dream goal for the meantime. However, neither of them have yet been used in the Bundesliga.

The midfielder is currently considered one of the greatest hopes for the future from FC Bayern Campus. In the new season, Karl is said to get the professional time for the French offensive star Michael Olise. The talent consultant is ex-international Michael Ballack, who was seen as part of the test game against the Spurs on the honorary stands not far from Eberl. After the game, Eberl had already said that it looks with Karl Gut in terms of contract extension.
