Middle-distance runner Joonas Rinne, 28, broke his extra-long indoor track record on Tuesday in Tampere, when he clocked 1:48.40 for the rest of the 800 meters. – It’s rare to run on a track like this, but it’s a very cheerful bet. I was hoping that it would be really strong until the end, but now it wasn’t. On the last straight I hit a little bit, but I’m quite satisfied, commented Rinne, who previously clocked 1:49.74 at his best on the 300-meter indoor track.
