Received Olivier Vandecasteele on Tuesday at the Royal Palace

The meeting will take place in the early afternoon at the Castle of Laeken. The king had suggested to Vandecasteele to receive him when he called him last Friday during his return trip to Belgium, says the spokesperson for the Palace.

Vandecasteele was flown from Tehran to Oman on Friday, where he was handed over to a Belgian delegation. He was traded with convicted Iranian terrorist Assadollah Assadi.
