Rebecca Langrehr misses medal at Pentathlon World Championships

Rebecca Langrehr just missed out on a medal at the World Championships in Modern Pentathlon in Bath, England. The 25-year-old from Berlin took fifth place in the final of the individual competition. The Italian Elena Micheli successfully defended her title.

Second was her compatriot Alice Sotero ahead of Britain’s Kerenza Bryson. The three medal winners also bought their Olympic ticket for Paris 2024 ahead of schedule. Annika Zillekens, who was born in Schleu, and Janine Kohlmann both missed out on reaching the final.

From 2.15 p.m. Germany is represented by Marvin Dogue in the men’s final. His brother Patrick Dogue and Pele Uibel were eliminated in the semifinals on Saturday.

On Monday, the mixed competition is still on the program in Bath at the end of the World Cup.
