As of April 1, 2022, nineteen sitting crown members will be reappointed to the Social and Economic Council (SER). The Council of Ministers has approved these reappointments on the proposal of Minister Van Gennip of Social Affairs and Employment. The appointments are for a period of two years until April 1, 2024.
Two-thirds of the SER consists of members of employers’ and employees’ organizations and one-third of members appointed by the Crown. Crown members function on the basis of their expertise as bridge builders between employer and employee members.
