Real Madrid faces the second leg against Manchester City on May 4 at the Santiago Bernabéu with the aim of starring in a new comeback that will allow them to be present in the final in Paris.
The whites aspire to play their seventeenth Champions League final, although history does not favor them. They have never managed to turn a tie around after losing in the first leg, in the penultimate round of the maximum continental competition.

An unprecedented track record
Real Madrid’s record in the penultimate round of the Champions League began in the 1955/56 season with their qualification after eliminating Milan, while his first KO came in the 1967/68 edition against Manchester United.
On that occasion they lost 1-0 in the first leg and were unable to come back at the Bernabéu. TaHe didn’t do it the next seven times he fell in the first matchup.
