Real Madrid remain on course for the title

Real Madrid did well in the league dress rehearsal for the eagerly awaited Champions League second leg against Paris Saint-Germain.

Without the ailing Toni Kroos, the league leaders defeated Real Sociedad San Sebastián 4: 1 (2: 1) on Saturday and increased the lead over the closest pursuer FC Sevilla to eight points. Sevilla failed at Deportivo Álaves (0-0) on Friday.

Eduardo Camavinga (40′), Luka Modric (43′), Karim Benzema (76′, penalty kick) and Marco Asensio (79′) scored after the visitors’ lead by Mikel Oyarzabal (10′, penalty kick).

On Wednesday (9:00 p.m. / DAZN) Real has to catch up 0: 1 in the round of 16 second leg of the premier class against PSG.
