Before international matches with France
For all fans who are tired of the back and forth surrounding Kylian Mbappé (23) and his decision between extending his contract at PSG or moving to Real Madrid, the most valuable footballer in the world has good news – the end is in sight.
“I will announce my decision promptly, it’s almost time. My choice is almost made. It will be well before the France national team meet,” said the Ligue 1 top scorer and top preparer at the league’s awards gala (quoted via “L’Equipe“). The Équipe Tricolore meets at the end of May for the UEFA Nations League A matches against Denmark, Austria and Croatia.

Since last summer, rumors have been circulating about Mbappé’s transfer to the “royal” and he himself, his family members, representatives from Real and representatives from PSG have not failed to heat up the contract and transfer poker at regular intervals. At the gala on Sunday evening, where he was named player of the season for the third time, he wanted to do it differently than in 2019 when he openly flirted with a farewell to PSG: “I made the mistake three years ago and have this ceremony claimed for me. This is not the place or the time – I am here to thank everyone.”
According to consistent media reports, the signs are pointing to farewell to Paris, which would mean that one of the world’s richest clubs would let the world’s most valuable player move to what is probably the richest club in football history. In 2021 it was still PSG that grazed almost the entire market of free transfer stars: Lionel Messi (34), Gianluigi Donnarumma (23), Georginio Wijnaldum (31) and Sergio Ramos (36) were brought in – the big goal of winning the Champions League win ended in the round of 16 at Real.
